Mascoutah Homecoming Parade - THIS SATURDAY Without Limits-Team Galaxy will be taking part in the Mascoutah Homecoming parade on 3 August. The theme is “Sport: What is your favorite pastime.” We will be taking a list of interested coaches, athletes and volunteers who would like to walk in the parade. Bake Sale to support the FUN NIGHTS! - Also this Saturday The Moose Lodge in Swansea. Illinois is offering a bake sale from eight to 1 o’clock on Saturday, August 3 and we need some athletes and parents to participate in the bake sale. Whatever the baked goods we receive goes towards our fun nights, so we need lots of baked goods from our parents so that we can sell and make money for the bake sale, would love to have the athletes in there without limits shirt and maybe some gold medals would help as well. Leu Civic Center - FLOOD DAMAGE If you have not heard the Leu Civic Center flooded during the storm. They got up to eight inches of water in some areas. They had to tear up the gym floor. They had a lot of damage to some areas. I am trying to put a work crew together to assist them. If interested, please email [email protected] This can be a way to show our support and partnership with them. They are also currently doing a school drive. NEEDED - Volunteers for Candy Days in New Baden We are needing volunteers to work in New Baden for September 6th to collect in New Baden's 4-way stop. Shifts for change collecting are here to sign up. Thank you! Additional volunteers will be needed as well for a Trenton collection (coming soon). Awards for most fish caught, biggest fish, smallest fish and many more. The Illinois Fish and Game will also hold some classes. It will be a partner or unified event.
