Join us for the 2024 Without Limits - Team Galaxy 2nd Annual Banquet!!
It is time for registration for the Without Limits - Team Galaxy 2nd Annual Banquet.

We will be celebrating all that is Without Limits - Team Galaxy:
Dance, Cheer, Drama, Special Olympics Sports and more!!

We would love to have you join us on this celebration of Without Limits - Team, Galaxy and to recognize all of our members and their amazing accomplishments.

All active members have free admission to this event
The event includes a full chicken dinner, recognition presentation, followed by music and dancing
RSVP is required for admittance

NEEDED - Volunteers for Candy Days in New Baden
We are needing volunteers to work in New Baden for September 6th to collect in New Baden's 4-way stop. Shifts for change collecting are here to sign up. Thank you!

Additional volunteers will be needed as well for a Trenton collection (coming soon).

Floor Hockey

We will be starting floor hockey next month
If interested, please sign up at [email protected]
Each athlete must have a helmet, gloves and shin guards
Practices will be on Saturday’s at 9:00 at the Mascoutah Leu Civic Center
The Southern Illinois Ice Hawks have agreed to send coaches to assist with practices
The team will consist of 15 athletes
Tentative start date is September 2024

If we get more than that with full commitment we can consider an additional team.

Flag Football

The next practice will be on August 13.
Practices will be on Tuesdays at Laderman Park at 6:00.
1st Scrimmage - 27 August at 6PM at Mascoutah High School
Area Flag Football Tournament - September 7 (Saturday) at Holt High School (tentative) (St. Louis)
Regionals - will be in Mascoutah on 29 September
State - will be in November 2, 2024

Softball
Congratulations to the Without limits Team Galaxy softball team winning gold at regionals and advancing to state for softball !!!!

Practices will be on Mondays at Mascoutah High School
State will be in September 7-8

Golf
Congratulations to all the golfers.

Those who received Gold will continue to practice for State

Volleyball

NOTICE -- Practice on Wednesday (Aug. 7) at Grant Middle School from 6PM to 7PM

Tennis

Good luck to all the tennis athletes in this weeks' upcoming State Tournament. See all the athletes there on Saturday morning!

Schedule for State 2024
- Some divisions became 2-team brackets, and In this format- the two competing will play two matches against each other throughout the day
- If each person wins a match, we will follow the same tie-break as our traditional round robin bracket:
  - First: the fewest number of sets lost in all matches.
  - Second: the most games won in all matches
  - Third: the fewest number of games lost in all matches
- As a reminder, we are following the new 50-minute time limit used for all matches at all levels of play.
- Matches are scheduled in 1 hour blocks allowing 50 minutes for court play (includes a 5 minute warmup) and 10 minutes for transition between matches.
