Tennis at State !!!

We were the talk of the state tournament!!!
- Congratulation goes out to all the tennis athletes
- Everyone came home with a medal
- We have three state champions and one doubles state champions
- We had several that made it to the championship game that came up short

Every athlete played well and up their game. Best match and entertaining of the weekend were between Wendy/KK and Stacey/Ryan. They were still talking about it on Sunday.

NEEDED - Volunteers for Candy Days in New Baden & Trenton Fund Raiser
We are needing volunteers to work in New Baden for September 6th to collect in New Baden's 4-way stop. Shifts for change collecting are here to sign up. Thank you!

Additional volunteers will be needed as well for a Trenton Fund Raiser for 4th & 5th of October. Please spread the word that we will be looking for volunteers. This is a good fund raiser in the past.

Parade - Saturday, Aug. 24th:

Parade Line Up: 4:15pm at our booth in the Kid Zone.
All Without Limits Members and SO Cheerleaders are welcome to participate in the parade.
Please wear your SO Cheer or Without Limits - Team Galaxy Spirit-wear.
We will meet the parents back at our booth after the parade.

City Fest Fundraiser:

We will be manning a game in the Kid Zone

Floor Hockey & Snow Shoe MEETING
We will be holding a meeting for all athletes who want to play Floor Hockey and Snow shoeing on 27 August at Mascoutah (Grass soccer field) at 7:30.

This is to discuss each sport, equipment, and practices. Please attend the meeting.

Floor Hockey Details

We will be starting floor hockey next month

Each athlete must have a helmet, gloves and shin guards
Practices will be on Saturday’s at 9:00 at the Mascoutah Leu Civic Center
The Southern Illinois Ice Hawks have agreed to send coaches to assist with practices
The team will consist of 15 athletes
Tentative start date is September 2024

If we get more than that with full commitment we can consider an additional team.

Flag Football

The next scrimmage will be in Springfield on August 20 @ 6PM.
Practices will be on Tuesdays at Laderman Park at 6:00.
Scrimmage - 27 August at 6PM at Mascoutah High School
Area Flag Football Tournament - September 7 (Saturday) at Holt High School (tentative) (St. Louis)
Regionals - will be in Mascoutah on 29 September
State - will be in November 2, 2024
