Transportation Reminder – Summer Games
Please note that Without Limits – Team Galaxy is not providing or sponsoring any transportation services for athletes during the 2025 Summer Games. All transportation to and from venues, events, should be arranged by the athlete’s parent, guardian, or designated support person. Any privately arranged transportation is not affiliated with or managed by WLTG. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

• Tennis Camp with Dave Lippe @ Edwardsville HS on July 11th from 10 to 11 - Must RSVP

🏈 Flag Football

• Starts June 24 | Tuesdays @ 6PM | Laderman Park
• Co-Host Game: July 18 | Edwardsville (with Texas-based program)
• Regionals: September 28 | Mascoutah

🥎 Softball

• NOTE FOR JUNE 16th:   
  
  • It does not look like we will be able to get on the field tonight to hold a practice, but we are still asking everybody to meet out there. If we cannot get on the field, we will be passing out uniforms and discussing what the next few weeks leading up to regionals are going to look like. 
    We have scheduled a scrimmage game for next Monday that will be held at the PTOEC field. I will have more information regarding this at the meeting tonight.
    If you are a returning player, please bring your hat from last year. We need to figure out how many new hats need to be purchased. 
    We need all players to attend tonight, but let us know if you cannot make it and we will make other arrangements to get your athlete their uniform in advance of the scrimmage next week.

📢 Organizational Leadership Update
We’re announcing a leadership transition:

• Amanda Lutz has been appointed as the new SOAD. Amanda will lead:
  • Athlete registrations
  • Center of Excellence (CoE) Portal
  • Coach certifications
  • Event coordination
  • Communications with Special Olympics Illinois
• Mari Seper will lead the WLTG Sports Committee, assisting Amanda with program planning and execution.
