Congratulations to the Without limits Team Galaxy softball team winning gold at regionals and advancing to state for softball!!!!

Mascoutah Homecoming Parade - THIS SATURDAY
Without Limits-Team Galaxy will be taking part in the Mascoutah Homecoming parade on 3 August. The theme is “Sport: What is your favorite pastime.” We will be taking a list of interested coaches, athletes and volunteers who would like to walk in the parade. If interested, please sign up at [email protected]  

• We are meeting at the Leu Civic Center between 4:30 and 5.
• We are asking each athlete to bring two bags of candy to give out during the parade.

Bake Sale to support the FUN NIGHTS!  - Also this Saturday
The Moose Lodge in Swansea. Illinois is offering a bake sale from eight to 1 o’clock on Saturday, August 3 and we need some athletes and parents to participate in the bake sale.
Whatever the baked goods we receive goes towards our fun nights, so we need lots of baked goods from our parents so that we can sell and make money for the bake sale, would love to have the athletes in there without limits shirt and maybe some gold medals would help as well. Thank you.

Leu Civic Center - FLOOD DAMAGE
If you have not heard the Leu Civic Center flooded during the storm. They got up to eight inches of water in some areas. They had to tear up the gym floor. They had a lot of damage to some areas. I am trying to put a work crew together to assist them. If interested, please email [email protected] This can be a way to show our support and partnership with them. They are also currently doing a school drive. If you want to donate, please contact Jenna Smith at 618-566-2175.

NEEDED - Volunteers for Candy Days in New Baden
We are needing volunteers to work in New Baden for September 6th to collect in New Baden's 4-way stop.  Shifts for change collecting are here to sign up.  Thank you!  Additional volunteers will be needed as well for a Trenton collection (coming soon).  

Fishing Derby - Canceled
Unfortunately, due to low attendance the "Fishing Derby" has been canceled.

Flag Football
The next practice will be on 30 July. Practices will be on Tuesdays at Laderman or Mascoutah at 6:00.

• Saturday, September 7 – Area Flag Football Tournament at Holt High School (tentative)(St. Louis)
• Regionals will be in Mascoutah on 29 September
• State will be in November 2, 2024

Softball
Congratulation goes out to the softball team for winning Regionals. Now off to State!!!

• Practices will be at Mascoutah High School on Mondays.  No practice July 29th.
• State will be in September.7-8

Golf

• No practice this week
• Regionals are on 2 August
• State on 7-8 September

Volleyball

• NOTICE -- Practice on Wednesday's will now be held at Grant Middle School in Fairview Heights
• A new text feed will be setup for communications.  Please let Sonji or Jon know if you do not receive a text.
• Scrimmage will be held on August 10th (Saturday) in Jackson, Illinois.  Let Sonji or Jon know if you plan on attending.  Games will start at 11:30 and 12:30.

Tennis

• The camp is on Thursday August 1st.  Please notify Rich who will be attending
• No practice on Saturday due to camp
• State Tennis is August 17, 2024, at the same location as the Region G Qualifier.  Schedule coming soon

Bocce Ball

• Practice starts on August 6th (Tuesday) at 6PM
• Practices will be at the Moose Lodge in Swansea
