Learn about your Cheer Coach Lisa!

My name is Lisa Elbe. I am the Cheer Coach for Without Limits Special Olympics Cheerleading.
I have volunteered to coach Special Olympics Basketball Cheer because my daughter Kennedy's passion is cheer and I wanted her to be able to continue cheering.
I also wanted to give you a little background of my cheer & dance teaching experience:

- I was the founder/coach/captain of the St. Louis University dance team
- I have been teaching dance for 40 years in which many of those years I owned and ran a competitive dance studio in Belleville until 2004.
- I performed in the Ballet "Romeo and Juliet" at the St. Louis Fox Theater
- I volunteered as coach for Upward Cheerleading for 8 years
- I founded and coached the St. Teresa Tigerettes Cheer team for Pre-K through 4th grade
- I choreographed for the St. Louis Football Rams Cheerleaders
- I was a professional cheerleader for the St. Louis Cardinals NFL Football team and for the St. Louis Steamers Soccer team.
- I do not have a degree in special education. My only experience is with my daughter Kennedy. I encourage your help and communication with me in order to make this the best experience I can for your cheerleader.
