Special Olympics Volleyball

Special Olympics Volleyball events are a celebration of athleticism, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Athletes take to the court, each pass, set, and spike representing a moment of determination and collaboration. Whether they're diving for a dig, blocking at the net, or celebrating a hard-earned point with their teammates, every match is filled with excitement and support. Beyond the competition, volleyball empowers athletes to develop essential life skills such as resilience, communication, and leadership, enriching their lives both on and off the court. New Athletes must complete the following forms & registration if not currently registered with WLTG or another SO agency.

Requirements to Play:  

• Must be at least 8 years old and identified by an agency or professional as having one of the following conditions: intellectual disabilities, cognitive delays as measured by formal assessment (an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) issued by their respective school). 
• Occasionally, athletes will be asked to purchase equipment for personal use or facility memberships. 
• There is also a yearly $50.00 Without Limits - Team Galaxy Membership fee to help cover facility rental fees.
