​Class A Coach / Volunteer Status

To renew your Class A Coach & Volunteer Status follow these steps.
*To be considered a valid Class A Coaches / Volunteer, you must complete part 1 and part 2*

Part 1: Class A forms, protective behaviors, and concussion awareness 

1. Go to http://www.soill.org/class.-a-registration/ to complete the Class A "form," protective behaviors and concussion awareness trainings.
   Please allow approximately 30 minutes to complete all sections.
2. We will review your Class A and update your trainings. We will notify you if we encounter any problems.

Part 2: Background Check 

1. Once we review your Class A, you will receive an email from [email protected] with the instructions to submit your background check. You will have one month to complete this step.  If you are turning 18, you will get the email on your birthday (or the business day following).
2. After your background check has been approved, you will receive the following email:
   "Congratulations!
   We've received your order, putting you one step closer to becoming a Sterling Volunteer.
   Your background check has been ordered. You can view the status of your order at any time simply by viewin9 your profile. Just so there's no confusion, we'll send you an email when Special Olympics Illinois has reviewed your .Background Check!
   Order Number: xxxxxxx- xxxxxxxxxx"
