📅 Important Update:
Health History Form Requirements Effective January 1, 2026
Starting January 1, 2026, new requirements will be in place for the Health History form. Please pay close attention to the following:
If any of the below questions are answered YES, a doctor's signature will be required on a generated medical form:

• Has the athlete had a concussion in the last 30 days?
  • (Triggered by the date of concussion question)
• Has a doctor ever limited your participation in sports?
  • (Answer “Yes” only if long-term or ongoing restrictions are in place due to a medical condition. Temporary limitations do not count.)
  • If answered ‘yes,’ an additional checklist item will prompt for details on sports restrictions.

Actions Required:

• Medical Form Generation: If any questions trigger a "yes" response, a medical form will be generated and added to the athlete’s checklist on their COE profile.
• Approval Process: Athletes will not be approved until the medical form is completed, signed by a doctor, and re-uploaded into the COE.

Important Notes:

• This requirement applies only to new or edited health history forms submitted after January 1, 2026.
• Previously approved forms will remain unaffected.

Stay informed and ensure compliance to keep our athletes safe and healthy!

The 2026 Swimming Season starts this week  — running January through May.  Registration is closed due to capacity / safety limitations.

• First practice for both the Developmental and Competitive groups will be Sunday, January 25th.  
• Development group will have the pool from 3PM to 4PM
• Competitive group will have the pool from 4PM to 5PM

🌍💙 2026 Millstadt Autism Walk - It’s a Small World 💙
🌍Date: Saturday, April 18, 2026
Join us for the 2026 Millstadt Autism Walk, themed "It’s a Small World," inspired by the message of unity and empathy from Disney. This year’s walk celebrates our shared humanity, reminding us that no matter our differences, we are all connected.

Participants will journey through various cultures, engaging all senses along the route. The focus is on celebration, learning, and togetherness, highlighting the strength of our close-knit Millstadt community.

We’re looking for volunteers to represent different countries or regions. Whether it's through décor, music, movement, or sensory-friendly elements, your contributions can help bring cultures to life in a joyful way.
So far, we have a local family excited to showcase Middle Eastern culture, and we aim to include areas like Holland, England, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, and more!

• This volleyball season was nothing short of a miracle for the Without Limits – Team Galaxy Spikers. More than a game, it was a lesson in courage, teamwork, and heart.
• Against all odds, with just six players, our Spikers battled their way to the State Championship and captured the Gold Medal in a thrilling, crowd-roaring finish!
• A huge thank you to our incredible coaches — Jon Borlin, Jennifer Miller, Mari Seper, Leslie Koth, Bob, Amanda Lutz, and Scott Davis — and to every parent and supporter who believed in the impossible.
• Special shout-out to Vinson McNamee for his selfless determination, playing through pain to help his team achieve greatness.

2025 Regional Tournament Success!
Gold Medalists: Those who receive a Gold medal at the regionals will advance to the Sectional competition on October 26th at St. Clair Bowl, competing in traditional singles, ramps, doubles, teams, and Unified Doubles/Teams.

• Athletes who did not win gold may still participate in Unified Doubles or Teams at Sectionals. This will be the last year this option is available (This option does not qualify for Young Athletes)
• Practice Schedule: Those advancing to Sectionals will continue to practice on Sundays at 6:00 PM at Bel Air Bowl, with the next practice on Sunday, October 5.

We would love to see as many of our bowling team members as possible at the Without Limits - Team Galaxy banquet on October 4th. It will be a fun night celebrating all of you and your accomplishments! Register here.

2025-26 Season Begins! - Kick-off Date: Sunday, September 21st

• Young Athletes Cheer: Sundays 11:00-11:30 AM (Ages 4-7)
• Game Day Non-Competitive Cheer: 11:30 AM - 12:15 PM (Ages 8 & Up)
• Competition Team: 11:30 AM - 1:15 PM (Ages 8 & Up)

2025 Regional Tournament Success!
We are so proud of all our athletes and are looking forward to continuing with many of you for Sectionals! Attached are the results for our bowlers.

Gold Medalists: Those who receive a Gold medal at the regionals will advance to the Sectional competition on October 26th at St. Clair Bowl, competing in traditional singles, ramps, doubles, teams, and Unified Doubles/Teams. Athletes who did not win gold may still participate in Unified Doubles or Teams at Sectionals. This will be the last year this option is available (This option does not qualify for Young Athletes)

Practice Schedule: Those advancing to Sectionals will continue to practice on Sundays at 6:00 PM at Bel Air Bowl, with the next practice on Sunday, September 21st.

We would love to see as many of our bowling team members as possible at the Without Limits - Team Galaxy banquet on October 4th. It will be a fun night celebrating all of you and your accomplishments! Register here.

• Regional Volleyball Qualifier - Region I Volleyball Tournament will be Sunday, September 21th.  Location will be Glenwood High School:  1501 Plummer Blvd, Chatham, IL 62629.  Skills, Competitive and Modified teams will all be included.

    8:30am - registration - teams can start warming up for 1st matches
    9:00am - short opening ceremony in the main gym
    9:10am - Traditional & Unified team games begin in West Gym
    ·        Traditional & Modified Skills begin in East Gym
    ·        Modified Teams will play after completion of Skills.

Our girls' volleyball team recently held a fantastic clinic with the Without Limits Team Galaxy's volleyball team! Everyone enjoyed skill development and scrimmaging. A big thank you to all the participants for making it a memorable day!

Upcoming Volleyball Skills Practice:
Volleyball Skills will practice on Wednesday from 6:00-7:00 PM at the Civic Center this week. We will also attend the Althoff Game with the volleyball teams on Thursday.
